She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Gale Gardner and Avice Fink Gardner; her grandparents, Gladys Shepard, Leonard Gardner and Nellie Gardner; and her siblings, Robert Gardner and Phyllis Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Duane; her son John W. Yancey of Marshall; her grandchildren, Ben Yancey (Emily) of Marshall and Christina; her great grandchildren, Ivy Yancey of Marshall, Willow Yancey of Marshall and Tyler Logsdon of Maryland; and her brother Richard Gardner of Lenoir. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
