It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shurlet Staal of Marmaduke, Arkansas, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cline and Ola "Mangum" Cline; her brother Larry Cline; and her grandson Justin Andrew Dye. She is survived by: her husband Samuel H. Staal; her children, Chris Staal (Penny) and Nicole Dye; her son-in-law Chris Hood; her siblings, Roy Cline and Dena Davidson; and her grandchildren, Canyon Staal, Morgan Cagle (Justin) and Chellen Cook.
