He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hopkins and Mable Jackson Hopkins; and his sister Velma McCrory. He is survived by: his son George Albert Hopkins, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Angel M. Hopkins of Springdale; his siblings, Patsy Hopkins of Marmaduke and Teddy Hopkins of Germantown, Tennessee; and his granddaughter Kassondra Nicole Steward. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
