He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Hyten and Evelyn Hyten; and his brother Larry Hyten. He is survived by: his wife Lee Hyten; his children, Johnny Charles Hyten, Sonya Hyten, Mikyla Hyten and Cindy Murrell; and his sister Shelly Riggsbee. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
