She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Daniel and Mary Evelyn Daniel; her former husband Floyd Cato Sr.; her husband Waymon Stout; her daughter Melinda Shoemake; and her brothers, Ernie Daniel and Robert Daniel.

She is survived by: her children, Floyd Cato Jr. (Vicky), Danny Cato (Monica), Wilma Binns (Kenneth), Catherine Curtis and Bonnie Elliott; her grandchildren, Ricky Sims Jr., Jennifer Thibodeaux, Timothy Binns, Gillian Binns, Alexander Binns, Erick Cato, Amanda Cato, Monica Cato, Joseph Cato, Britany Cato, Joe Burt, Casey Burt and Garrett Elliott; and her siblings, Joann Hendrix, Marie Silva and Kim Daniel. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
