He was predeceased by: his parents, John Callins and Leona Elizabeth Butler Callins; his wife Juanita King Callins; his children, Benny Joe Callins and Rita Gail Johnson; and his grandchildren, James Johnson and Angela McEwen.
He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Baney of Marked Tree, AR; his son Ronnie Coats of Marked Tree, AR; and his sister Emma Nell Callins of Tennessee. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
