It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Gillis (Marked Tree, Arkansas), born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Garfield and Annie Thomas Loggains; and her husband Burl James Gillis. She is survived by: her sister Donna Dill of Georgetown, IL; and her children, Linda Smith (Bobby) of Lake City, Jim Gillis (Jeannie) of Jonesboro, Glenn Gillis (Toya) of Marked Tree, Dennis Gillis (Rhonda) of Jonesboro, Ruth Ross (Gregg) of Marked Tree and Gaye Carroll (Larry) of Bay Village. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Corners Chapel Baptist Church, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
