He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neal and Gertrude Dean (Bottom); his wife Ruth Anne; and his son Bernie. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Harmon of Andover, James Dean (Tracy) of Little Rock, Cheree Cheatham (Russ) of Madison and Nealie Dean of Cordova; and his sisters, Peggy Tortorice and Kate Sandusky. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
