She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Brown and Julie Ann Young Brown; her husband Rex Smith; her children, Tommy Lee Smith, Kathy Plunkett and Theresa Smith; and her sister Kathleen Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Joe Smith (Evelyn) of Chicago, IL, Bobby "Bucky" Smith (Ruby) of Tyronza, AR, Mary Seay (Brian) of Trumann, AR, Debbie Thompson (Jeff) and Lisa Smith of Marked Tree, AR; and her sister Louise Kennedy of Paragould, AR. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
