She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy McDonald and Sarah B. Turner McDonald; her granddaughter Brittney Lauren Crockett; her brother Charles McDonald; and her sister-in-law Diane McDonald.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Merriman of Marked Tree; her siblings, Jimmy McDonald of Marked Tree and Linda Danforth of Olive Branch; her granddaughters, Morgan Womack of Georgia and Heather Booker of Missouri; her sister-in-law Margaret McDonald of Olive Branch; and the father of her child Johnny Turpen of Marked Tree. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
