He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Sr. Thrasher and Birtie Gean Thrasher; his wife Hazel Thrasher; and his brothers, Jerry, Leslie and Robert Thrasher.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Haynes of Quitman, Rose Scott of Prattville and Patsy Fain of Marked Tree. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
