William Carlson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Carlson (Marion, Arkansas), born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean Clark Carlson; his parents, Walter C. Carlson and Emma Hedlund Carlson; his siblings, Ruth Scott, Eunice Cole, Louise Rogers of Viola Alpe, W. J. and Ralph C. Carlson; his grandfathers, Doo and Meemaw; his children, Mike Carlson (Candy) of Marion, Bill Carlson (Jane) of Hot Springs and Jane Bennage (Mike) of West Memphis; his grandchildren, Dusty Carlson (Laura), Kirby Carlson (Chrissy) and Carlson Bennage; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Kora Jane Carlson, Pearl and William Carlson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of West Memphis, Steudlein Learning Center, West Memphis Christian School or the animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
