She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Puryear and Allie Puryear; her husband Don Ferguson; her son David Puryear Ferguson; and her siblings, Martha "Sue" Abrams and Robert "Bob" Puryear, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Ferguson Acuff (John David); her granddaughters, Allison Wehrum (Gary) and Meighan Pendergrass (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Kelcie Wehrum, Anna Wehrum and Millie Pendergrass.
