He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Young and Hattie Milum Young; his wife Juanita Young (Barger); his son Kenneth Bryan Young; his siblings, Mary Swafford (Bill), George Young (Mabel), Sam Young (June), Bill Young and Eddie Young; his niece Penny Osborn; and his brothers, Ralph Barger (Clara Faye) and Howard Barger (Sue).
He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Taylor; his son-in-law Rick Taylor; his granddaughter Brittney Breedlove; his great grandchildren, Reid and Reese Breedlove; his stepgranddaughters, Haley Pool (Jake) and Kayla Hall (J. W.); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Graham of Longview, Texas, Sawyer of Longview, Texas, Buck Pool of Longview, Texas, Lendon of Longview, Texas and Maverick Hall of Longview, Texas; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Young of Harrison.
Memorials may be made to the Valley Springs School Foundation in his memory.
