He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Quitman Caldwell, Sr. and Myrtis Caldwell Bledsoe; and his siblings, Ann Caldwell Jones and Charles Quitman Caldwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lena Sue Caldwell (Stoddard); his children, John Caldwell (Cathy), Jerry Caldwell (Julie) and Karen Edgin (Chris); his grandchildren, Jennifer Caldwell Martin (AJ), Christopher Caldwell, Madison Caldwell, Jacob Hays and Mallory Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Harly Ann Martin and Jonah Martin.
