It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Louise Clemons of Marianna, Arkansas, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Courtney and Mary Lee Martin Courtney; her son Edward "Eddie" Clemons, Jr.; her son-in-law James Hollis; her siblings, Richard Courtney, Carroll Courtney and Dorothy White; and her stepgranddaughter Jamie Webb.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee Clemons; her children, George Robert Clemons (Sybil) of Cabot, AR, Teresa Clemons of Marianna, AR, Anita Hollis of Batesville, AR and Diane Holder (David) of Pleasant Plains, AR; her grandchildren, Amanda Stevens (Chris), Blake Holder, April Bledsoe (Jeremy), Jonathan Clemons and Makenzie Clemons; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Kaylea and Presley.
