He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lorene Babb Harlan; and his granddaughter Elizabeth West. He is survived by: his children, Doyle Harlan (Karen) of Damascus, Mary Harlan of LaGrange and Virginia West (Gary) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Melissa Harlan, Julie Hicks, Justin Harlan, Hope Pettie and Chris Pettie; and his brother Junior Harlan (Clara). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
