He is survived by: his mother Iris Steele (Hart); his children, Kyle Howley of Anchorage, Alaska and Shelby Howley of Poteau, Oklahoma; his father James Steele of Mansfield, Arkansas; and his sisters, Barbara Townsend (Howley), Lynn Scott of Puyallup, Washington and Dorothy Howley (Burl Sainsbury).
