He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Scantling and Minnie Scantling (Smith); and his wife Audrey Mae Scantling. He is survived by: his sons, Stan Scantling of Bangs, Doug Scantling of Magazine, Aaron Scantling of Emery and Todd Scantling of Fort Smith; and his siblings, Donald Scantling of Boise, Ronnie Scantling of Bentonville, Delta Smith of Booneville, Loretta Anzar and Dorothy Posey. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
