He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil B. Sr. Thompson and Elizabeth Kathrin Thompson; and his brother Thomas Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Jean Thompson; his son Matt Thompson (Lisa); his granddaughter Anna Thompson; and his siblings, Bobby Shepard and Becky Broughman.
