He was predeceased by: his parents, Cly Farmer and Christine Assalee Bollinger Farmer; and his siblings, Glenn Ray Farmer, Lorean Ballard and Lucille White.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Holt Farmer; his children, Brent Farmer (Angel) of Manila and Cindy Curtis (Max Gene); his brother Woodrow Counts of Benton Harbor; his grandchildren, David Hutton (Pennie), Johnny Kotkovich, Rex Farmer and Lucy Farmer; and his great grandchild Hunter Hutton.
The family prefers any memorials be made to the First Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
