She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Ruby Ann Kendrix Cater; her husband John Odell; and her siblings, William Cater (Junior), Johnny Franklin Cater, Butch Cater and Bessie Jewell Stutts of Manila, Arkansas..

She is survived by: her sons, John Wayne Malloy (Paula) of Imboden, Ernie Malloy (Kim) of Manila and James Allen Malloy of Manila, Arkansas; and her siblings, Lee Cater of Manila, Bobby Gene Cater (Linda) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Beckey Wilkey (Wendell) of Heber Springs and Karen Jane Wilkerson of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
