He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Landis and Rebecca Thompson Mitchell; and his siblings, Eugene Mitchell, Dallas Mitchell, Julian Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Mildred Bruschi and Elizabeth West Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Annabell Lutes Mitchell; his children, Greg Mitchell (Patti Jo) of Jonesboro and Susan Keller (Tracy) of Manila; his grandchildren, Megan Brown (Ralo) of Jonesboro and Will Clark (Abbi) of Bella Vista, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Jude Vincent Mitchell of Jonesboro, Ruby Rae Brown of Jonesboro and Raleigh Mae Brown of Jonesboro.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
