He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Box and Dora Pittman Box; and his daughter Retha Box. He is survived by: his wife Julia Churchwell Box; his daughter Tanya Fleeman (Duane); his siblings, Gary Box, Donald Box, Elmer Box, Calvin Box, Doris Dean, Patty Brush, Joyce Ibson, Margaret Sparks and Evelyn Sharp; and his pet Sissy. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
