Carl Douglas Reams Obituary

Carl Douglas "Doug" Reams, 82, of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas passed away on February 7, 2025 at Lakeside Nursing Center. He was born on June 17, 1942 in Milligan Ridge, Arkansas to Artie and Laura (Williams) Reams. Doug was a busy body and was usually seen around town. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, flea marketing, picking pecans, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include; three children: Tim Reams (Tina) of Caraway, Arkansas, Kim Knowlton of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas, Angela Bratten (Stefan) of Leachville, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Eric Reams of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Zachary Knowlton (Ashley) of Black Oak, Arkansas, Jera Berry (Anna) of Blytheville, Arkansas; eight great grandchildren; three brothers: Gene Reams of Steele, Missouri, Wayne Reams of Bernie, Missouri, Truman Reams of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; one sister: Geraldine Gipson of Caraway, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Artie and Laura (Williams) Reams; one grandson: Xander Bratten; three brothers: Alvin Reams, Wilburn Reams, J.D. Reams; and three sisters: Lillian Emery, Ester McCormick, Virginia Hancock.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
