He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Zephyr Thomas Brooks; and his siblings, Donnie Brooks, Jimmy Brooks and Nadine Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Manley Brooks; and his sister Pat Blossom of Blytheville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
