He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Thrasher and Maebelle Randolph Thrasher; his daughters, Teresa Gayle Thrasher and Sherry Mae Hall; his siblings, Emmitt Jr., Vernon, Aaron, Shorty Thrasher, Audrey Watson, Wynadeen Manley, Vera Dean Terry and Bernice Nichols; and his grandson Joshua Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Thrasher of Manila; his children, Berlon Thrasher Jr. (Lynn) of Luxora, Frankie Thrasher (Darlene) of Manila and Rhonda Bozeman (Stacy) of Columbia, MS; and his siblings, Billy Ray Thrasher (Mary) of Mt. Home, Hillard Thrasher of Sheffield, AL, James Earl Thrasher of Osceola, Gary Thrasher of Grapevine, TX and Jeanette Nichols (Lealon) of Osceola. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
