She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Olsie and Ladell Barber Maxey; her husband John David Yancey, Sr.; and her son John David Yancey, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Yancey (Annette) of Manila, Jeanette Lasater (Phil) of Manila and Jodie Ohler (David) of Keiser. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
