He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice Elizabeth Nicholson (Humphrey); and his brother James Nicholson. He is survived by: his father Luther Jackson Nicholson; his wife Brenda Diles; his children, Dennis Nicholson (Andrea) and Amy Toomey (Brian); his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Chesney), Tessa Smith, Dalton Nicholson and Carter Nicholson; his sister Janice Ballard (Frank); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Nicholson and Betty Diles Fitchett; and his uncle Avery Humphrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
