She was predeceased by: her parents, Almous Cotham and Gladys Cotham; her husband Herbert Risner; her children-in-law, Laverne Risner and Steve Pierce; her grandson Bradley Risner; her siblings, Jerry Ann Combs, James Dearyl Cotham and Gary Dean Cotham; and her nephew Kris Cotham.
She is survived by: her children, James Lewis Risner, Hazel Berniece Pendarvis and Deniece Pierce; her grandchildren, Larry Pendarvis, Bryan Risner, Andrea Thompson (Pierce), Brent Risner and Josh Pierce; and her aunt Bonnie Agee. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; several great, great-grandchildren; four sister-in-laws; several cousins and one aunt.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial be made to the St. Jude : Memorial Processing , St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959.
