It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Yvonne (Lowry) Shopen of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Richard Shopen; her children, Malik Mitchell (Allena) of Vancleave, Mississippi and Sarah Chappelear of Pocahontas, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Zoe Farmer (Paul), Mackenzie Chappelear (Max Vandergriff) and Isabella Chappelear; and her great grandchildren, Madilynn Chappelear and Oliver Farmer. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
