He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fredrick and Jennie Willetta Delargy (Evans); his wife Candace Delargy; his sons, Jason Delargy and Gary Delargy, Jr.; and his brothers, Ray, Bruce and Brad.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Austin of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Tony Delargy of Clinton, Iowa; his stepsons, Jeff Rains of Horseshoe Bend and Travis Rains of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; and his siblings, James Delargy (Connie) of Salem, Bobby Delargy (Janet) of Bonne Terre, Thomas Delargy of Glencoe, Arkansas, Lela Kathryn Acord (David) of Glencoe, Iris Hines of Guthrie and Teri Delargy of Guthrie, Oklahoma. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
