He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Johnson and Effie Eatheal Brazeal Johnson; his wife Ruby Louise Edwards; his siblings, Dow Johnson, Icie Reef and Velma Finney; and his half-siblings, Annie Bell and Sted Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Johnson (Vickie), Joe Johnson (Sue) and Denise Gum (Pete); his grandchildren, Janine Gum, Derek Gum, Rebecca Simmons and Kimberly Wade; and his great grandchildren, Rachel Wade and Ryan Wade. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives; and countless friends.
