He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Wheatley and Barbara Wheatley; and his sister Debbie Goodwin. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Wheatley; his brother Wayne Wheatley; his grandchildren, River Jenkins and Baby McNanna; and also, Ian Jenkins (Darian), Logan McNanna (Wyatt) and Loren "Abby" Wheatley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests perennial landscape plants (knockout roses, etc.), which will be planted in Wheatley Memorial Garden.
