He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Fay Burton and Vernon C. Woodall; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his sister Linda Burks; his nephew Lance Burks; his great-nephew J. W. Burks; and his stepdaughter Jessica Douskurt (Jo Douskurt).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Regency Funeral Home (1839 Pine Bluff St, Malvern, AR 72104).
