He was predeceased by: his father Harry; his stepfather Harold Wilson; and his granddaughter Nicole "Nikki" Clara Van Acker. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Nutt Lackey; his daughters, Sherrie Hale (Donald Chambers) and Brenda Harmon (John); his grandchildren, Kristen Craig (Joshua), Tommy Steuart (Mandy), Kacie Van Acker (Alan Geer), Grace Harmon (CJ Haynie) and Faith Harmon (Colton Brunke-Brown); his great grandchildren, Cayden Darrow, Gabby, Kyleigh Swayze, Izzy Steuart, Lee Massey, Hanna Barnes, Kayla, Emma Craig, Lilith, Serena Geer, Greyson and Loni Ruth; and his brothers, Gene Lackey (Geneva) of Sanger, TX and Jim Lackey (Bonnie) of Sagle, ID. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Regency Funeral Home (1839 Pine Bluff St, Malvern, AR 72104). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
