It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Emogean Johnson of Malvern, Arkansas, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Thelma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thelma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Williams and Lynas Davis Williams; her husband Marion Thomas Johnson; her son Allen Johnson; and her brother L. J. Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Johnson, Earnest Johnson, Debbie Moore, Joy Arch and Maye Lilly; and her siblings, Maylon Williams and Maxine Williams. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Regency Funeral Home (1839 Pine Bluff St, Malvern, AR 72104). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Bayou Cemetery.
