He was predeceased by: his parents, HuVaughn Fitzhugh and Lillian Fitzhugh; and his former wife Brenda James Fitzhugh. He is survived by: his wife Rev. Beth Perdue; his daughter Philisia; his son-in-law John Orr; his stepsons, Nathan Chaney (Meghan) and Jared Chaney (Ariel); his grandchildren, Jace Orr, Olivia Orr Reed (Landon), Lilyana Orr, Lyla Chaney, Sophie Chaney, Enoch Chaney and Elise Chaney; and his brother Jeff Fitzhugh (Liz).
