We bid farewell to Otis Holmes Jr. of Malvern, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Otis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis W. Holmes, Sr. and Meautie Murphy Holmes; his daughters, Darla Teel and Debbie Holmes; and his siblings, Jim Holmes, Ernest Holmes, Bill Holmes, Della Mae Draper and Gladys Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Don Holmes of Hot Springs, DiAnne Scarpa (David) of New Jersey, Samantha Holmes Howard (Jon) of Malvern and Miquel Holmes of Maine; and his siblings, Dorothy Tankersley of Texas, Judy Wallace of Benton, Mary Holmes of Bauxite and Walter Earl Holmes (Laura) of Ft. Worth, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home (318 S Ash St, Malvern, AR 72104).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
