She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon; her granddaughter LaTanya; her sister Dorothy; and her son Vernon Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah and Linda; her adoptive son Corey (Sonya); her daughter-in-law Chrissy; and her grandchildren, Cleavon (Atara) and Ryan (Aaliyah). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
