It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gray of Malvern, Arkansas, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebenezer Lorenzo and Pauline Lavada Jordan Gray; his wife Stephanie Gray; his half-brother Bill Gray; his sister Cheryl Gray; and his nephew John Kevin Dale King.
He is survived by: his son Eben A. Gray; his close friend Mike Sibley; and his brothers, Paul Cardin and Rusty Jones. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
He worked tirelessly to promote the Anthony Cooper Memorial Bass Tournament for many years, collecting donated prizes and setting up tents for serving his own fresh smoked meats to raise awareness for suicide prevention, then donated all proceeds to treatment centers to help people battling depression.
