With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Porterfield of Malvern, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Porterfield and Gracie Porterfield (Johnson); his wife Elouise Porterfield (Thornton); and his children, Kelly Porterfield and Yuna Porterfield.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Porterfield (Donna) of Jackson, FL, Bradley Porterfield (Rebecca) of Alvin, TX, Terry Porterfield (Lisa) of Donaldson, AR and Joshua Porterfield of Somerville, MA; and his sister Jessie Ruth Zuber of Malvern, AR. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Atkinson Funeral Home (126 E 2nd St, Malvern, AR 72104). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel (126 E 2nd St, Malvern, AR 72104). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
