She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Woodrow Mays and Vivian Daniell Mays; and her nephews, Jeffrey Mays and Luke Adams. She is survived by: her close friend Harold Ronnie Collie; her daughter Cheryl Collie Thornton (Kevin); her grandchildren, Sydney Thornton of Peoria, IL, Chloe Thornton of Kansas City, MO, Caleb Thornton of Greenwood, MS, Shelby Thornton of Jonesboro, AR and Noah Thornton of East End, AR; her siblings, Ronald Mays (Margaret) and Donna Robbins (Buddy); and her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Collie (Darrell Boles), Brandi Dingler (Mike), Brooke Dedman (Scotty), Brian Collie (Melissa) and Mark Adams (Krystal).
In lieu of flowers and food, memorials may be given to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 797 Mt. Zion Rd, Malvern, AR 72104.
