He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Ashley and Cornelia Warfield Ashley; his son Edward Ashley (Eddie); and his sister Connie Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Gale Wolfe Ashley; his children, Joy Ashley of Hot Springs, Jay Pharr (Leslie) of Malvern and Lonnie Pharr (Lori) of Malvern; and his brother John Ashley of Malvern. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
