William O. Powell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William O. Powell of Magnolia, Arkansas, born in Taylor, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Powell and Dovie Powell; his parent-in-law Johnnie; his brother Donnie Ray Powell; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Beshea Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Powell of Magnolia and Penny Haire (Barry) of Pelican, LA; his granddaughter Holly Hulet (Matt) of Magnolia; his great grandchildren, Adam Haire, Zelda Haire, Piper Hulet and Gryffin Haire; and his sisters, Nelda Estridge (Tonie) and Wilma Dyson Prater of Magnolia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Methodist Church (3061 Columbia Rd 15, Magnolia, AR 71753).
Memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Methodist Church or Southern Christian Mission.
