He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Paul and Mary Anderson; his wife Verna Barnes Paul; his siblings-in-law, Neil Barnes, Francis Blanton and Lucy Mae Tipton; his grandson-in-law J. J. Brazzel; and his son-in-law Ronnie Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Thompson, Sondra Rea (Pat) of Hampton, AR and David Paul of Camden, AR; his daughter-in-law Rennette Paul of Taylor, AR; his grandchildren, Traci Boyd, Kim Henry (Sean), Jenna Paul, Michael Thompson (Christy), John Paul Rea (Erin) and Cody Dulaney; and his great grandchildren, Cassidy Paul, Jaylyn Brazzel, Sadie Thompson, Tyler Holtzclaw, Wyatt Teague, Hilton Boyd, Sawyer Thompson and Elliot Paul Rea.
