He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Oliver Colen; his grandparents, Mary and Tom Simpson; and his brothers, Tyrone Colen and Thomas Colen (Jennifer).
He is survived by: his mother Mary Ella Colen Hanson (Simpson) of Emerson; his wife Mary Ann Hanson; his children, Beth and Tony; his grandchildren, KJ, Jada and Alex; and his siblings, Ye Juanda Sargent of Magnolia and Michael Riggins of Little Rock.
