He was predeceased by: his father Chester Curtis Barnes; and his sister Aira Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Barnes; his wife Joann Vaughan Barnes; his children, Theodore Barnes, Jr. and Melissa Lewis; and his siblings, Glenda Barnes, Katherine Critten (Nazaree), Roy Chester Barnes, Elvis Barnes and Ronald Wayne Barnes. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
