He was predeceased by: his father Chester Curtis Barnes; his daughter LaTieasha Cooper; and his siblings, Theodore Barnes and Aire Lee Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Sanford Barnes; his wife April Brown Barnes; his children, Tyrone Barnes of Texas and Jacqueline Johnson of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Tyone Barnes, Kaearrion Cooper, Korayona Ross and Koryia Turner; and his siblings, Elvis Ray Barnes of Magnolia, Ronald Wayne Barnes of Mississippi, Katherine Critton (Nazaree) and Glenda Barnes of Magnolia. He is also survived by his family and friends.
