He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pendleton and Sally Mae Hardy (Toms); and his siblings, Talmadge Hardy, Raedean Hardy Nipper, Bonnie Jean Hardy, Thomas Alvin Hardy, James Pat Hardy and Betty Sue Hardy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Christine Hardy Nipper of Magnolia, AR and Polly Hardy Hartsfield of Bonham, TX; his sister-in-law Evelyn Krouse Hardy of Magnolia, AR; and his nieces and nephews, Jan Hardy Hearnsberger (Ronnie) of Springhill, LA, Pam Hardy Guevara (Pacho) of Houston, TX, Terri Hartsfield Holder (Bernie) of Bonham, TX, Tammi Hartsfield Tysell (Ken) of Dallas, TX, Bill Nipper of Hot Springs, AR, James Hardy (Geri) of Minden, LA and Steve Hardy (Tina) of Magnolia. He is also survived by numerous great nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
